Part Two: Second Chances

Micheal saw her crying in the corner and felt himself breaking. She had come back because of him and he had let her down. With soft steps he approached and sat beside her. "I am so sorry Genevieve." his voice was thick with emotion.

"Do you love me? You said you did once...but did you mean it?" he set his head back on the wall.

"Yes, I love you with everything in me. When you left, I waited. Hope began to fade for you coming back so I thought it would be safe to date someone else to try and fall in love with someone else, but I never did...and now I hurt two girls...one of which knew I still loved someone else...and the other who fought for three hundred and ninety-seven days, fifteen hours, and..." he paused looking at his watch,"twenty-six minutes, and twelve seconds." she smiled giving a sad laugh.

"You counted wrong, it is twenty-nine minutes and fourteen seconds." Micheal wiped her tears away.

"Give me a chance Gen...please." he asked pushing hair behind her ear.

"Okay." her brown eyes met his blue ones as she set her head on her knees.

"Thank you." he put his lips to hers. Genevieve lifted her head and pushed her hand through his hair.

"Tell me you love me." she whispered putting her forehead to his.

"I love you." the whisper made the tears proceed.

"Again."

"I love you." with that his lips were on hers again. Little did he know that Stacy had a few tricks up her sleeve to try and steal him away. She went to his house later that night covered with a coat. Genevieve's shadow came to his window. Micheal soon joined her blasting Fearless by Taylor Swift. Gen was singing to him aloud dragging him onto his balcony. Micheal hated Taylor Swift(shout out to my best friend Christian who hates Taylor Swift), always had, but this song...it was the song Geney loved and picked it for them before she left.

Laughing, the brunette danced like she was the singer herself before pulling him by the shirt close to herself. "Fearless Micheal, remember what you told me right here before I left?"

"That no matter what happened...I would love you fearlessly. This song was playing and I made the sprinklers come on while you were in your prom dress." a smile spread across his face.

"And I don't why but with you I'd dance in a storm in my best dress fearless." she sang as the song ended. "It was the most romantic thing ever." the silence followed.

"I don't deserve you Genevieve."

"I know, but you are too late to stop me from loving you." her sweet smile made his heart race. His arms wrapped around her as the song played again, just dancing with her.
